From Arkansas To Atlanta To The Atlas: Yungsta Guap

From Arkansas to Atlanta Yungsta Guap is shifting the culture. His dirty southern flavor mixed with his Nigerian family roots have developed a distinct sound for the young artist, and a strong business sense has taken him to the top of the game in his local market. With notable features in his catalog and more singles to come, Yungsta Guap is a modern hip hop artist doubling down on Andre 3000’s almost 30 year old words, “the South got something to say”.

Yungsta Guap grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his single mother and 6 siblings. A loud, busy household taught him hard work and gave him all the headspace he needed to create his own way of thinking and creating that would take him past his hometown. He began making music in early high school with his local collective “Southern Youngsters”, undoubtedly where he got the name he would carry with him throughout his career. Still pushing independent, he’s gained some major nods like multiple features from billboard charting rapper Duke Deuce which have garnered him near a million plays. Still hungry for more, he’s gearing up to release his next single titled “Bout That” featuring Paper Route Empire affiliate Brick Wolfpack and St. Louis rising star Rahli.
