Kid Apollo's new single 'Shameless' is out now and it's brazen bedroom-pop bliss. This Derry artist blends many genres and styles of music together in order to match his creative vision. No two songs are the same, yet each carries an unmistakable flow and melodic drive that Kid Apollo is making into his very own sound... The video for Shameless is equally as brilliant as the track itself. Like the song, it has a brooding and nostalgic vibe set in the raw countryside and streets of Apollo's hometown. A telephone left hanging off the hook, a train speeding by as Appollo stands against a wire fence, an empty plain where he lies on the grass and plays guitar... the tropes of a lazy lockdown existence add all the more poignancy to the music. Lockdown gave us all some more time to reflect and this song is the fruits of Appollo's time existing during this strange era.
