nicetry Release Feely Debut Single

Dublin-based band nicetry have released a highly anticipated debut single "Willows." The track is lush and full, and testament to the band's ability to create wide, atmospheric soundscapes. It is full of their signature lyrical and sonic sentiments of nostalgia and memories of youth.

Textured guitars create sounds that are both classic and creative from Cian McDaid and Danilo Ward. Earthy and warm, the song builds to a climax that is layered with harmony, grungy guitars, and faithfully rhythmic drumming from Cam Teehan. Delicate, melodic vocals from Eunice Saraiva sway and swell.

They say, "The song's imagery is inspired by the personification of elements of nature, taking influence from dreamlike films such as Pocahontas, Peter Weir’s Picnic at Hanging Rock and 80s nature documentaries."

nicetry have made waves in the Dublin indie scene for the past year. From a sold-out headline show in Whelan's, to Whelan's Ones to Watch festival, if you ever get a chance to see this bunch live, don't miss the opportunity. They have the ability to transfix and hypnotize with emotive soundscapes and on-stage chemistry. Thankfully, this single captures their sound.

A band that has true dedication to their craft, they continually looking forward to how they can innovate and push themselves, their sound, and the genre.
